The Project

Mackenzie Hoy Consulting Acoustics Engineers were contracted to consult on the necessary upgrades to the University of Cape Towns “African Drumming School”.

We were employed as both the acoustic consultants and electrical consultants for the project.

The school required that during any drumming practises that the neighbouring classes were not disturbed by the noise. We completed the design with great success and have received no complaints to date.
